Job Description

*Job Specifications: RD I/IDM_Exterior Lighting_Mechatronics (Testing)Relevant Experience Required3 yrs to 7 yrsEducation QualificationDegree or PG in Mechatronics/Electrical and Electronics departmentJob Responsibilities

Design, Develop & integrate electronics and electrical mechanisms in the product.
Verification & Validation planning & execution
System level & Functional testing of product.
Ensure quality and timeline of Electronics & Validation milestones & deliverables in the projects
Finalization & approval of Testing Matrix & Testing Reports.
Supplier Management for development & Testing
Cross functional teams (CFT) co-ordination within Mercedes Benz

Maintaining of Mechatronics Lab

Technical Skill Requirements

Actual Work Experience in automotive electronics & electrical systems (Preferably in Component Testing & Automotive Lighting)
Knowledge of electrical & electronics influence on the component development
Knowledge of Wiring Harness layout & design
Experience in software testing for automotive application using Automotive Software Testing tools
Experience writing system level & functional level test cases for automotive application software
Knowledge of electrical parameters and electronic control modules
Product Functional Knowledge.
Change Management (NCM/ACM).
Supplier Interaction (Costing, Project Steering).
Product Development & Release (MDS, Project Steering). Electrical
Documentation (EC, EPDM, Duke, PIA etc.).

Additional Skills Requirements

LED & Optics knowledge
Automotive Lighting Regulations
Knowledge of German Language (at least A2).

Tools

Vector tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape
Daimler internal tools required for product development & release.
Good to have: Python, CAPL programming
