Job Description

    Depending upon the team you join, the role and responsibilities may include : financial accounting and controlling tasks (daily P&L, month end close etc.) with regards to the assigned areas within one of the teams mentioned above production and analysis of regulatory and management reporting including forecasting and planning prepare calculations, prepare and post accounting journal entries, perform various reconciliations, produce external reporting disclosures as per defined book of work build subject matter expertise in the area of responsibility assigned to you execute appropriate controls in the processes, ensure risks and issues in processes are identified and reported respond to queries, ad-hoc requests and resolve issues from stakeholders and key business partners challenge current process and suggest process improvements prepare process documentation and keep these up-to-dateYour teamWithin Group Finance India, you will be part of one of the accounting, reporting or controlling teams like Cost Controlling, Product controlling, Financial data services, Compensation Controlling, Valuations Controlling, Legal entity controlling, Reporting and Analytics, Regulatory reporting and controlling, Group Functions CFO reporting, qualified Chartered Accountants experience in financial services industry and strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts exposure to reporting or controlling function including providing commentaries will be helpful strong Microsoft office skills is a must, experience with financial reporting and ledger systems like SAP, BO is beneficial. Experience with data services like Bloomberg / Reuters / etc. is a good to have. working knowledge or interest in VBA macros, Python, Alteryx, MicroStrategy , Tableau will be an added advantage excellent communicator with an ability to communicate in a clear and concise way with global teams inquisitive nature with knowledge of or interest in learning new topics (e.g., financial markets and products, risk management, financial reporting controls etc.) able to multitask, think creatively, flexibly and logically to solve problems. interested in digitalization and have an affinity with technology. independent, have attention to detail and can work within tight deadlines and under high pressure
