Job Description

This position will be responsible for processing all assigned tasks, including, but not limited to:
Preparation of monthly preliminary/final forecasts for Recurring revenue stream basis trends, and input from business unit business/finance leaders.
Strong Knowledge on Revenue Accounting ( Revenue Recognition, Deferral, Revenue Contract reading, Revenue Risk Identification)
Run through GSR (Global sales report) to scan through any new/add-on agreement signed and preparation of pipeline forecast to be reviewed & discussed with Business unit finance leads.
Significant direct and indirect interaction with business unit finance leaders to understand business developments and changes that may affect revenues (Specially attritions/credits).
Load Prelim/final monthly forecast data into HFM (budgeting and forecasting tool).
Provide quality commentary on Variance Analysis (v/s Prior Forecast, v/s Actual, v/s Plan, v/s Prior Year)
Participation in monthly close to identify unusual or erroneous items, as well as the detection of missing credits and spill over impacts.
Responsible for monthly reporting related to Revenue (regional reporting, Attrition reporting, ad-hocs).
Investigating queries from business unit finance leaders
Perform other special projects & ad-hoc requests as needed
