Job Description

  • Participate and Contribute in the complete SDLC for End-End-Delivery of JavaScript based applications
  • Leading development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for real-time software systems
  • Leading development, integration, and maintenance of code and software components into a fully functional system
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and methodologies
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to implement software products and tools to help our customers build ground breaking products
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot and lead root-cause analysis for production issues and system failures; determine corrective action and improvements to prevent recurrence
  • Actively participate in Sprint planning and execution
  • Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
  • B.E. (CS/ IT / related discipline) / BCA / MCA
DESIRED CANDIDATE
  • Strong knowledge and experience writing optimized, efficient, unit-testable, and modular JavaScript
  • Working experience with single page applications (SPA), Client-Side MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs and event driven architecture desired
  • Exposure to the intricacies of JavaScript closures, call back stacking, asynchronous eventing model, and event chaining are a must
  • Additional experience with HTML template engines, CSS compilations, AJAX, JSON, software design patterns, and build/deployment scripts a plus
  • 5+ years of experience coding and/or designing in multiple programming languages, including focused experience in relevant/targeted software stack (JavaScript, Node.js and SQL language, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web design)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, NW.js, Bootstrap, JQuery, C3.js and / or D3.js
  • Experience designing and developing Software as a Service (SaaS) architectures
  • Proven track-record performing in a start-up environment, and being supportive of the entrepreneurial process
  • Intellectual curiosity, with a healthy appetite for debate
DESIRED CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES
  • Expertise in Core and Advanced JavaScript
  • Expertise in ECMA/ES 6.0
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript/Angular 2.0
  • Expertise in jQuery and UI Bootstrap
  • Expertise in AJAX
  • Hand on with JavaScript, Node.js and SQL language, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web design
  • Working knowledge of testing tools like karma, protractor, Jasmine etc
  • Familiarity with Package manager tools (node package manager), and task runners like Grunt/Gulp
  • Familiarity with Restful APIs would be a big plus
  • Well-grounded in Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
