This role within Global Banking (GB) IT is for a QA Test Engineer to validate and enhance the Quality of bespoke software, working closely with Development and BA teams from analysis and design through to testing signoff. The focus of the role is the next-generation web applications for GB bankers as well as broader platform which includes mobile devices.Your teamYou ll be working in a Corporate Lending team based out of Pune. This is a multiyear program of work which will involve working with cutting edge technology and engaging Front-to-Back across multiple teams and groups., Minimum of 4 years experience in Web testing Knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB foundation or similar concepts demonstrated with past experience (certification is an additional advantage) Attention to detail Understanding of networking and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, REST API, JSON, etc. Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.) SQL Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools (Team City, Jenkins) Experience with Task Management System (like JIRA, etc) Basic knowledge in Unix (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows command line tools Basic knowledge in Splunk & ELK Pipeline (Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search) Confident (communication) Excellent analytical skills. Knowledge of Quality Gates and Test Metrics, drive for the Shift left approach in the delivery cycle Experience with Back-End testing automation (HttpClient (REST)) and/or E2E functional testing automation for JS applications (Selenium, Selenide, WebDriverIO) will be an additional asset Agile Test Engineering experience with a basic understanding of Selenium Understands Agile techniques and able to translate these techniques to deliver appropriate QA Knowledge of TDD and BDD is nice to have (in relation to test process) Enterprise container technology such as: Docker, OpenShift (CRI-O) etc. Not afraid to challenge the status quo.
