Job Description

At Toll Technology Centre, Pune (India) we are looking for a dynamic Global IT Delivery Lead responsible for designing, developing and maintaining applications built on Mendix Platform and automations on UiPath to enable IA COE to achieve its objectives and goals. The role ensures that the application and automation software is aligned with the Toll IT Strategy and Architecture.As a Global IT Delivery Lead, you will be:

  • Responsible for building the applications and automations in the portfolio of projects in the IA COE. Drive a high performing delivery team that performs to agreed standards and methods.
  • Estimating, scheduling and ensuring that all resources planning requirements are sufficient to provide the required levels of availability and support. Ensuring the application appropriate development tools. Develop capacity plans including equipment and resources to ensure timely delivery of the agreed projects
  • Report on the progress of applications and automations development against schedule and budget. Ensure effective communication and management of stakeholders through the delivery cycle. Providing technical mentoring and guidance to the build teams. Manage strategic vendors and partner where require to ensure delivery of project outcomes.
  • Oversee and measure KPIs to monitor and challenge vendor performance and identify gaps and areas of service improvement. Safeguard the quality of transition of build into support from the IA COE. Accountable for the quality of build and architecture standards of all projects to the business requirements.
  • Work with the broader IA COE team to ensure agreed commitments are delivered. Plan, manage and deliver the appropriate testing through the lifecycle of the project to ensure quality of the work including unit testing, user acceptance testing and penetration testing.
  • Apply the relevant security and risk management protocols as required. Maintain solution documentation as appropriate. Follow the appropriate release management processes across the Toll IT Enterprise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in application software development, with excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills at Senior Executive level.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in developing and building a team with software development in a similar sized organisation.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in engaging with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are being met.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience especially in driving the necessary cultural change to comply with the standards and policies set. Deployment of applications in a SaaS / PaaS environment.
  • Experience in COBIT or ITIL best practice
  • Experience in working within an agile environment. Experience in working within an CI/CD environment
