Roles and Responsibility :
This position, based out of Pune, is responsible to support, expedite and enhance sourcing of various parts and
aggregates from potential and cost competitive Indian suppliers to global manufacturing locations. The job involves supporting Central Purchasing Office located at Europe and managing
coordination of sourcing activity processes and expediting active and fast response from Indian suppliers.
The said position shall report to Head of India Global Sourcing Officeat Pune which is associated with Central
Purchasing office in Germany.
Research and scouting for potential suppliers across commodities, guiding and supporting them for registration on
B2B sourcing portal
Support Central Purchasing Organization to partner with potential, reliable and cost competitive suppliers from
India
Partner with counterparts in Central Purchasing Office to ensure requirements of sourcing documentation is
completely and rightly understood by potential suppliers
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
Pre-negotiation and expediting CBD (cost breakdown) data from suppliers
Track and report key functional metrics related to commodity, currency and other cost elements
Co-ordinate with central Purchase, Quality and Project Management teams for the agreed SOP execution
Kaufteilemanagement: expedite and support tool development and part development until PPAP completion
Call Off: align with production/logistics colleagues ensuring timely dispatches
Working experience of online sourcing portal, Strong self-initiative
Exposure to sourcing and vendor management processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent with Microsoft Office
A knack for negotiation and networking
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Commercial awareness including cost estimation techniques
Technical knowledge - to be able to read drawing and understand tolerances and specification as well as
production technology
