Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee internal communication to improve awareness and motivation of employees.
  • Dedicate face time to support employees through interaction and feedback.
  • Conduct employee presentations and roundtables and ensure follow- up as necessary.
  • Support performance management and employee development through appraisals, career planning, career orientation reviews, high value exercise Technical Careers and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate staffing, including recruitment, training and development, transfers and promotions, in line with the business plan.
  • Manage succession plans and implement programs that ensure employee development.
  • Be responsible for localized compensation and benefits strategy and recommend changes to ensure competitive compensation practices and a motivated workforce.
  • Develop cross- Product Line skills through training and transfers.
  • Oversee relocation, induction and orientation for new hires and transferred employees.
  • Uphold local compliance to employment law, works councils and union agreements.
  • Maintain relationships with external bodies such as government authorities and HR- related agencies.
  • Promote community awareness and global citizenship through local programs.
  • Regularly meet with line management to communicate issues and suggest improvements on current HR processes. Provide guidance and coaching to management of geographic area of responsibility on HR principles and employee relations.
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote privacy awareness. Manage the deployment of data protection requirements and the companys privacy strategy.
