Mission:Apply your mastery of CAD design and drafting workflows to drive growth of the industry s second most popular 2D design and drafting solution - DraftSight. You will support Sales goals by being ready to pitch, demo, and promote adoption of our desktop and cloud platform solutions in any medium. You exhibit the skills based on a significant CAD/CAE/PDM/PLM background, and you are able to apply that expertise to create technical sales content to fuel engagements at any point on the customer s journey and win.You will be able to further develop and apply deep knowledge of a vast CAD/PLM/CAE portfolio, including DraftSight, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE platform roles.What will your job be As a DraftSight Lead Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be equally skilled in technical sales and technical marketing. You will apply your immense product and industry expertise, creativity, and professional skills to support Sales and Marketing campaigns that are critical to the success of the DraftSight business globally (Supporting different timezones).Your main deliverables include technical solutioning, client facing technical demos, demo videos, demo datasets, webinars, conference presentations, best practices, and live streams. You will be leading a team of pre-sales and COE. As an ideal applicant, you have technical sales strengths in equal parts across 2D CAD, 3D CAD, PLM, including industry processes such as Manufacturing, AEC, Automotive and Industrial Equipment. You are a proactive self-starter with the ability to balancing multiple simultaneous assignments, products to master, while working with multiple cross-functional teams to accomplish your objectives.Your key success factors B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Architecture and Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar degree.10+ years experience in mainstream CAD platform(s) such as AutoCAD, AUTODESK, BricsCAD, or similar 2D design and drafting solutions. CATIA and/or SOLIDWORKS a plus. 5+ years experience as a Technical Sales in the CAD/CAE/PDM/PLM software industry.Expertise in pre-sales activities, such as qualification, discovery, solution engineering, demonstration, and collaborating with post-sales.Exposure to and knowledge of mainstream product design/development and business processes; able to articulate mainstream engineering and product design business issues; able to discuss variations found in different industries.Exceptional live and virtual presentation experience. Digital content production expertise a plus.Flexible to working in a variety of groups, from individual contributor to leading moderately sized content projects.Ability to travel.,
