  • Oversee application systems, architecture, design, data workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces
  • Work closely with all the engineering functions and teams to determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct reviews, document current systems, and develop technology roadmaps
  • Responsible for ensuring optimal application and system performance.
  • Drive an open and scalable architecture and ensure that the best relevant technology solutions are being adopted
  • Champion for good engineering practices and support clean code and maintainability
  • Foster innovation and ensuring adoption of new technologies as needed.
  • Hands-on coding
What are we looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an IT/Software Architect
  • 12 years of software development experience, at least three of which should be on enterprise-grade software
  • Effective communicator using English, good networking skills, proven ability to influence and drive change initiatives
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft .net stack. Expertise in C#, Asp.net, Asp.net MVC, Entity Framework, and asynchronous programming
  • Good understanding of SOA and ability to architect solutions applying REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP. Highly proficient at WCF and web API
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis and design capability (OOAD)
  • Good experience designing, architecting, and maintaining enterprise-grade software systems
  • Understanding of best practices in implementing cross-cutting concerns and capability to apply the same
  • Very good knowledge of prominent design patterns and the ability to design solutions by composing the most suitable design patterns for the job
  • Experience working based on agile methodologies. Good understanding of the concept of emergent design and practical application of the same
  • Proficient at clean code, establishing high code maintainability
  • Proficient at database development using Microsoft SQL
  • Proficient at software development patterns and practices needed for continuous integration (CI)
  • Proven experience in operating within a global environment
  • A good understanding of the payment domain would be an added advantage
