  • This position is responsible for supporting information capture (OCR), extraction and delivery technologies including: Kofax Total Agility (KTA) and IBM Datacap applications in production and to design/develop new solutions.
  • Responsible for providing Level 3 production support of Kofax Total Agility. Need to be able to diagnosetriage esolve production incidents. Need to work with vendor (Kofax) to create/update/manage vendor tickets when escalation is needed. Need to be able to design/develop/enhance Kofax-based solutions.
  • Strong technical, programming, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to provide direction and technical advice to other team members.
  • Able to learn new Digital Process Automation (DPA) technologies quickly as new technologies come to the market: Digital (user experience, information capture and delivery), Cognition and action (AI, RPA, Machine Learning, NLP/NLG, smart workflow tools).
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in Kofax Total Agility 7.3 and 7.7
  • Experience in configuring Kofax import connectors and Kofax export connector (e.g. email import connector, folder import connector, XML export connector)
  • Expertise in Process Designer for designing workflows and debugging in flight work items using logs and Job Monitor
  • Must have working knowledge of text extraction, table data extraction and OMR value extraction using format locator, table locator, zone locator etc.
  • Good Knowledge of Kofax backend database structure
  • Must have hands on experience in writing scripts using WinWrap Engine, configuring script locators.
  • 5+ years of C#,.NET experience
  • Kofax Administration experience
  • Experience with load testing Kofax applications.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with team members and business users.
  • Over 10 years of progressive IT experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of KTA use of dictionaries, flat file data sources and ODBC data sources
  • Knowledge creating KTA knowledge base articles and training documentation creation
  • Good understanding of Web Services and how to publish or call Web Services within Kofax
  • 5 + years of experience in Design , Development , Maintenance and supporting IBM Datacap 8.x and 9.x Applications .
  • Hands on experience in IBM Datacap Installation and upgrade activities.
  • Experience in installing and deploying Content Navigator and Datacap Navigator on Unix platform
  • Experience in Datacap application migration from one environment to another.
  • Should be able to extent ruleset by Datacap customizations using .Net and C#.
  • Experience in installing Datacap server components in a distributed Production & DR environments.
  • Experience with load testing Datacap applications.
