Lead Application Performance Management APPLY FOR THIS JOB Location: Pune, India Experience: 5+ years Number of Positions: 1 At Clairvoyant, were building a thriving big data practice to help enterprises enable and accelerate the adoption of Big data and cloud services. In the big data space, we lead and serve as innovators, troubleshooters, and enablers.
Big data practice at Clairvoyant, focuses on solving our customers business problems by delivering products designed with best in class engineering practices and a commitment to keep the total cost of ownership to a minimum. The role of Big Data Engineer is a critical role that spans across e - commerce, Banking Finance, Education domain customer projects. Must Have: 5+ years of experience in software development and delivery. 3 to 5 years relevant work experience on large scale Data applications Good aptitude, strong problem solving abilities, and analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate Should be able to do coding, debugging, performance tuning and deploying apps to Production environment. Should have good working experience in at least two of the below. Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Yarn, File formats like Avro/Parquet) Kafka J2EE (Spring/Hibernate/REST) Spark Streaming or any other streaming technology. Python or Java. Design Patterns in software architecture. Experience working in Agile Methodology Ability to learn and help team learn new technologies quickly. Excellent communication and coordination skills Knowledgeable (and preferred hands on) - UNIX environments, different continuous integration tools. Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals
Role Responsibilities: Provide support for complex Hadoop based Application. Develop/upgrade modules as and when requested by Client Understand the changes suggested by the Client and implement it as per deadlines Follow agile/scrum process for on - time delivery of working solutions and meeting client expectations.
Take the complete responsibility of the project execution Drive and motivate team to be agile and follow agile methodology Guide the team technically and give the team a direction on how to plan, design, implement and deliver the projects. Involve the team during the brainstorming sessions as appropriate. Work with other team leads to get the architecture reviewed. Work with the clients and counter - parts (in US) to drive the project execution. Should be atleast a graduate having good communication skills. Willing to work in rotational shifts. Should be able to join in maximum 1 months time.
