The team is always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who are self-motivated in their work and careers.What you will be doing:The position, Lead Technical Architect, is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complete software tool solutions related to a segment of Veritas productsA Lead Technical Architect represents the organization in matters requiring cross-functional coordination and often performs a technical project leadership roleWhat skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed: The team is looking for a skilled developer who has background with our products and development practices (bitbucket/git & stash, secure development lifecycle, etc.)This individual will need to be able to lead design discussions, complete code reviews, drive best practices, collaborate with other development teams and cross-functional organizations, and interact directly with our stakeholder groupsCandidates with 6-8 years of advanced knowledge in all required programming languages like Java, Angular, HTML, C#, Perl, PHP, SOAP, XML, JSON, Hadoop, Mango DB, Agile practices, Cloud technologies, Drupal, Python, Shell scripting etc.Primary Responsibilities Works with little or no supervision. Is able to take general direction and formulate specific tasks to accomplish the desired end result.Responsible for the design, development and implementation of complete software components.Anticipates problems and future technical needs and takes necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.Is looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to lesser skilled individuals on the team. Completes analysis, development and/or maintenance of highly complex, undefined tasks. May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project. Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.May assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements. Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.Scope - Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Employs expertise as a subject matter expert. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Business Impact - Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the inability to reach crucial organization objectives and may have a prolonged effect, as well as result in the expenditure of substantial resources.Success Factors - Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the inability to reach crucial organization objectives and may have a prolonged effect, as well as result in the expenditure of substantial resources.Leadership/Supervision - May determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Interacts with management and senior customer/stakeholder personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.Preferred Education - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experienceRelated Experience Desired - 6-8 years Possesses advanced knowledge and skills in all required programming languages.,
