Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Reports to the GM- Sales Marketing with specific responsibilities for the leasing, and lease management activities

  • Responsible for sourcing leasing clients for ready possession retail shops and showrooms and generating pre-commitments for upcoming commercial inventory, engaging with channel partners, customers and brands
  • Understanding clients requirement, expectations, background and decision-makers
  • Good knowledge of Commercial retail leasing agreements, documentation, brands and franchising frameworks, etc.
  • Handling all lease documentation, database of owners who want to avail lease-assistance, tenant management
  • Establish,develope and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships
  • Planning and implementing the leave and license and lease agreements, assisting during possession and handover, maintaining high occupancy rates
  • Conduct sales calls / site viewings and presentations
  • Collaborate with other Departments for the improvement of tenants performance as well as tenancy and leasing operations for the purpose of actualizing target rental income budget and planned occupancy levels; achieve tenant satisfaction within the limits and conditions
  • Negotiate and budget leasing terms and conditions
  • Work with tenants to develop retail standards and ensure tenants fulfil their lease obligation
  • Achieve specialty leasing income goals established by Management
  • Assist with developing the Specialty Leasing budget and business plan and establish objectives as required
  • Research and report to Management on competitive Leasing and Specialty leasing trends in the industry and within the geographical and catchment areas of the project
  • Source and seek out prospective tenants
  • Generate new leasing leads and negotiate qualified deals from inception to final execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective, existing and short term tenants fitout management
