Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to:
    • EIIC has opening for Manager - Engineering - System Modeling - Power Electronics & Electrical systems.
    • Selected candidate will be responsible for leading team to deploy System Modeling Capabilities in areas such as Power Electronics and Drives, Distributed Energy Resources and developing algorithms for PHM solutions for Industrial, Electrical sector and Eaton Research Lab.
    • Primary functions of the role are mentioned below:
    • Leads and manages technology within System Modeling domain for Electrical and Power Electronics with planning and assigning work for team members.
    • Develops, motivates, coaches team members and measures their work
    • Drives quality management system & ensures quality of engineering deliverables related to wide range of Eaton products.
    • Plans and builds organizational capabilities and capacity, develops SMEs and Leadership pipeline.
    • Develops strategy for team; aligns, develops and deploys systems and processes aligned to strategy.
    • Develops & deploys Analysis First approach to programs across Eaton products.
    • Coordinates with the EIIC & Global teams to develop and implement System Modeling methodologies in domain of Power Electronics and Drives, DER, PHM development leveraging state of art CAE tools
    • Provides strategic and tactical direction to System Modeling team
    • Interfaces with internal stakeholders to conceive, develop, execute and communicate plans
    • Allocates resources & ensures projects are completed within the required time frame
    • Deploys Design for Six Sigma within team
    • Inculcate Innovation Mindset.
    QualificationsRequirement
    • MS/ME/M.Tech. or PhD in Electrical/Electronics engineering.
    • 7-10 Years of relevant work experience with multinational engineering organizations. 1-2 years of Leadership experience
    • Good fundamental knowledge in Power Electronics and Power Systems. Hands on experience in simulation model development for Inverter, converter and/or Power Systems simulations and PHM development is added advantage. Thorough understanding of Six Sigma (DfSS) principles.
    • Proven track record in engineering / R&D domain. Candidate should have demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to reliably achieve goals.
    • Candidate should have excellent English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Should have demonstrated effective team building and interpersonal skills. Experience with leading teams is a plus.
