We plan and execute the audits forlegal entities keeping in view the local regulatory requirement of the respective countries.What you will be doingThe position is for Assistant Manager: You will be responsible for ownership of financial reporting process including financial statements for FIS entities. You will be involved in planning and execution of the audits, team management, drive the financial reporting process.What you bring:Knowledge / Experience- Minimum 9-12 years of experience which includes 5-7 years in financial Reporting.- Ensure timely preparation/review of annual statutory accounts for respective EMEA/APAC legal entities in accordance with LocalGAAP.- Ability to resolve complex issues arising during the audit.- Detailed audit planning to ensure that deadlines are met with no unusual items during the audit.- Co-ordinate the audits with local audit firms to complete and file the accounts by filing due dates.- Ensure that all queries from auditors are resolved on timely basis as well as timely delivery of all support/sample requests.- Work with BU, legal, corporate, treasury, HR, payroll to obtain documents/information/Approvals etc. as required for audits.- Review of Financial Statements (FS) and disclosures as required.- Review of annual LE returns and liaising with tax/ corporate/external advisors to facilitate the completion of tax returns by filing deadlines.- Work to address queries from directors/senior stakeholders during Financial Statement review to the obtain approvals.- Advise management on the impact of new laws/regulations on local statutory reporting/tax.- Driving daily/weekly/monthly calls with auditors/BU/other stakeholders.- Review, analyze and adjust quarterly and annual tax Packages for US GAAP.- Prepare/review various analysis and detailed schedules to be submitted to corporate/other stakeholders on an ongoing basis.- Perform special projects, ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as assigned- Raise any issues related to process and get it resolved.Skills- Strong analytical skill.- Good communication skill.- Practical experience in Financial Reporting.- Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP- Knowledge of other GAAP is a plus- Good conceptual background of revenue recognition, lease accounting, transfer pricing, payroll accounting etc.- Strong desktop computing skills: Excel, Word etc.QualificationsCA/CPACompetencies- Demonstrate strong accounting knowledge and implement them.- Ability to work with strict deadlines and proven track record to deliver on/before the deadlines.- Strong sense of organization and ability to prioritize the tasks- Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility- Must demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and investigation/negotiation skills- The ability to work in a global environment with strong stakeholder focusWhat we offer you- A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities- A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities FIS is your final career step!- A competitive salary and benefits- A variety of career development tools, resources and opportunitiesWith a 50-year history rooted in the financial services industry, FIS is the worlds largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
