Focus on innovation, new product development initiatives to improve sustainable competitive position of the product portfolio.Visit to customers to understand / study the product applications.Clearly articulate the customer requirement and application of the product.Understand the market demand & competition, of the product required.Understand the manufacturing process and resource required.Prepare business plan with pricing, cost structure, margin, volumes, capex for new product.Maintain dynamic product development roadmap in support of strategic initiatives.Development of new products and process parameters at pilot scale. After successful completion of pilot trials, technology to be transfer on plant scale with the help of production and R&D team.Develop NPD plan with timelines and review / monitor according to product development process.Prepare and review NPD proposals, and project costing with technical justifications.Assist to develop processing plans, methods, and design with results and cost analysis.Development of new product with costing and stabilization at pilot and scale up.Work closely with Sales and Marketing, Plant / R&D for new product development related to Industry & provide key inputs on product application and performance measurement to Plant / R&D.Be a key member of CFT (Cross Functional Team) to review the development of planning, input, output, product verification / validation etc.Coordinate with R&D /QA to ensure the standards of processes from R&D point of view to meet the customers requirements.Co-ordinate technical liaison to inform customers of new types, specifications and end uses of products.To chalk out & implement the plan for preventing the defects in the new products.Carrying out the customer feedback / survey to improve the processes and exceeding the customers expectations.Provide technical support to Marketing, Plant in driving NPD.Maintain regular contact with the sales and production functions to keep abreast of any developments in product and services.Required Candidate profile Customer interaction, Formulations, Process knowledge, Product Development Process, Product Costing, Product life cycle, Innovation & Benchmarking, Project Planning.,
