Strong knowledge of voice networking theory and practical applications Working knowledge of Management Systems Strong understanding of networking principles Avaya PBX and voice mail systems Avaya VOIP networks and equipment Call Center voice networks Understanding of QSIG, ISDN, H323, H225, SIP and various codec Minimum of five years professional experience Two years supporting tier one global financial organizations is desirable Problem solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex technical problems and demonstrated abilityto quickly understand complex systems Strong leadership skills with ability to focus and perform in time sensitive high pressure environment Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written communication skills and excellent listening skillsare required. Good knowledge of IP telephony and Avaya technologies and solutions. Experience in administration of Avaya Aura, Messaging and Contact Center , H323 and SIP voice gatewaysand analog gateways for Modem and faxing at the edge. Experience in administration of Avaya PBX system platforms, dial plan. Calling vectors, ISDN PRI voice portsand trunks. Knowledge of basic LAN and WAN administration on Cisco gateways and switches and TCPIP. Experience in design and administration of dial plans and Avaya voice gateways, for H323, SIP protocols. Experience in administration and support of NICE voice recording systems Knowledge in E911 standards. Knowledge in Call Detail Record (CDR) reporting and associated tools. Knowledge in administration of basic call handlers and attendant console. Knowledge in IVR, self service or speech recognition systems. Experience in administration and support call center solutions within large, highly complex organizations. Knowledge of Call Center supporting applications such as ticketing system, workforce management andknowledge management highly desirable. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
