Job Description

Job Title:Non Functional Test EngineerLocation: PuneIntroduction:Non-Functional Testing responsibility incorporates the Management of Project-based Operational Acceptance Testing and Project-based Disaster Recovery Testing, ensuring that the Project have met the current Run the Bank standards to enable the solution to be operated and maintained within the Production Environment.What will you be doing

  • Responsible for end to end delivery of projects within programme for VPT quality and engineering requirements
  • Ensure adherence to testing governance, processes & Stakeholder management. Help manage interfaces across the different suppliers on programmes
  • Build efficiency in testing and continuous improvement of VPT methods, techniques and process
  • VPT Project Management and Tracking Pipeline/Forecast/Budget Management
  • Review VPT artefacts like Test Plan/Test Report/Test Scripts
  • Access VPT environment and application architecture from scalability and design perspective
  • Strong skills with Load Runner/HP Performance Center required script creation using VuGen for Web (HTTP/HTML), Web services, etc. protocols (as applicable) to emulate the application. All scripts are to be appropriately correlated, parameterized, with any check points, think time need to be added, etc.
  • Strong working experience in Performance Testing & Engineering
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools like CA Wily Introscope, HP Diagnostics
  • Experience on Performance testing on cloud based environments such as AWS, Azure
What were looking for:
  • Strong skills with Load Runner/HP Performance Center required script creation using VuGen for Web (HTTP/HTML), Web services, etc. protocols (as applicable) to emulate the application. All scripts are to be appropriately correlated, parameterized, with any check points, think time need to be added, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience of API and UI performance testing and measures.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Wily Introscope.
  • Good understanding of Load Balancers mechanisms, Virtual servers, Virtual Pools, Rules, Connection & Cookie persistence.
  • Experience in Network Monitoring parameters along with Cloud infrastructure & monitoring
  • Sound understanding of Java/JVM architecture, JVM tuning, GC, Class loading, Thread Dump Analysis, JMX based JVM monitoring.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Architecture. SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Stats, SQL tuning, Explain plan, Tracing tools, Hints, Fragmentation, Partitions, familiarity with at least one Oracle tool like TOAD.
Skills that will help you in the Role:
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Batch monitoring and analysis.
  • Strong Unix & Linux skills, ability to write shell scripts for information gathering purposes.
  • Batch performance testing experience.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Oracle enterprise manager, SMF/Strobes, Informatica PowerCenter.
