If you want to grow your skills and develop your career, find out more at www.imerys.com The Position Port Supply Chain Executive - North & West Job Summary Key Responsibilities:Administration of import / export:

  • Tracking of export and import shipments and providing timely updates to the sales/customer service team.
  • Import and Export checklist approval and timely payment of advance duty to customs.
  • Preparing post export documents based on LC and PO and timely submission to concerned authorities.
  • Close coordination with CHA and Transporters for On time in full delivery.
  • Close coordination with customer service and provide timely updates and follow up with them for timely offloading.
  • Verify of CHA & other transporters bill and payment tracking.
  • Preparing Monthly MIS and other management reports.
  • Timely posting of entry in ERP (ACCPAC).
  • Arrangement of coastal shipments from plants & warehouses.
  • Process Custom duty & Advance payment
  • MEIS (Export Benefit) application
  • Tracking of PD Bond (Provisional Duty)
Supervision at ports:
  • For the key shipments, go to ports and check / supervise operations with CHA
  • Be responsible for the alignment between CHA scope of work / performance vs. actual work
  • Report performance of vendors at port to manager and Purchasing
Job Requirements:
  • Graduate /Post Graduate in SCM MBA (SCM) Diploma in Material Management or Masters in Supply chain Management.
  • Supply Chain / Logistics Executive with experience of loading, unloading, ports
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, conversing in other local language (Prefer Hindi, & Marathi)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Effective at cross-functional teamwork
  • Possesses ability to juggle and prioritize numerous requests simultaneously
  • Passion for finding new and innovative trends in relevant industries
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain (domestics and export) topics
  • Strong project management skills (incl. strong analytical skills and strategic understanding)
  • Customer oriented profile
  • Business acumen and Technical appetite
  • Very familiar with IT tools: ERP (e.g. AccPac, SAP), specific supply chain modules, Google Sheet (or at least Excel), Google slide (or at least Powerpoint)
