Position Details Automation Tester

Job Description

Description:1. Knowledge and hands-on experience on automation tools like HP UFT or Selenium 2. Good knowledge on scripting languages like VB Script, Java 3. Need to be ready for automation related discussions with the client and provide inputs related to the best tool, technology, scripting language, best practices, frameworks, etc. as per the application requirement 4. Must have good knowledge of Agile Methodologies and ability to participate in Story Grooming sessions with Business & Development teams. Ability to provide estimation points if asked for with proper justification. 5. Good ability to start working on a project from scratch like reading and understanding business requirements, getting all the clarifications from business teams. 6. Must have very good knowledge and hands-on experience on the usage of HP ALM and JIRA7. Ability to identify test scenarios and convert them to meaningful functional test cases 8. Ability to identify regression scenarios 9. Ability to identify end-to-end scenarios and application areas, and apply them wherever needed 10. Create requirement traceability matrix 11. Prepare and send daily status reports to all the concerned people12. Adhere to the sprint timelines and raise any red flags well in advance in case of any schedule slippages 13. Knowledge of testing on mobile devices (iOS and Android) is preferred 14. High level knowledge of SOAP UI, AWS, WinSCP, Oracle SQL Developer is good to have 15.
