Job Description and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY This position is a member of the IT Security Services Team, which is part of the overall IT Security organization. IT Security Services is responsible for security architecture, engineering and support of security controls, and identity and access management (IAM) for our global computing environment. The Cyber security Engineer will be responsible for day - to - day cyber - security tasks, support of our security solutions and processes, developing new solutions, and mitigating potential risks to our environment. The responsibilities of this position require the ability to utilize many technologies, tools and processes which will assist in maintaining our security services. This individual will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively across various technology disciplines (e.g., Network, Server, Client, etc.) and with global and regional teams. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engineer, implement, and support new and existing cyber - security solutions and processes
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to project teams and support teams as needed
  • Collaborate on the identification and initiation of new security offerings and processes
  • Promote the IT Security strategies and promote a culture of cyber awareness and responsibility
  • Follow ITIL processes to ensure consistent approach to incident, change, and problem management
  • Participate in on - call duties/responsibilities as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent degree.
  • 5 - 8 years functional/technical experience as an IT Cyber - security Engineer, or equivalent experience
  • Networking experience or skills are highly preferred
  • Prior experience with Cisco Security Solutions is preferred (i.e. Cisco ASA, FTD, FirePower, etc).
  • Attained or working toward IT Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCNA, Security+
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem - solving capabilities required
  • Strong communications skills; both verbal and written
  • Prior experience with industrial control systems is preferred
  • Ability to assess and prioritize competing issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively across global, cross organizational team environments and participate in virtual projects, work requests or activities
