Job Description

Key Objectives of the position

Strong technical anchor for Tata Signaling Monitoring Reporting platforms and single point of contact to SD and SA team for Mobile Signaling service Assurance requirements. Represent mobile service engineering team and providing network planning and robustness for TCL mobile network and support all services of existing and new customers across the globe. Participate in the elaboration and KPI improvement of new services.

Position requirements

1) Bachelor s Degree in Electronics Communications Engineering or equivalent.

2) 12 years experience in Signalling Core networks, Protocols, Reporting Monitoring Platforms, KPI reporting tools Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Job Discription::

  • Good knowledge of KPI in mobile network.
  • Excellent exposure to MVNE/MVNO, IOT network, Mobile core/switching/signalling network engineering optimisation.
  • Sound knowledge of all type signalling protocols like, SS7, SIP, Diameter, S6, S8, S9, GTP etc.
  • Sound knowledge in Packet core network, GSM architecture, STP, SMSC, Voice switch, GGSN, SGSN, HLR/VLR and protocols like SS7, SCCP, TCAP, Diameter etc.
  • Sound knowledge in NFV, Virtual machine, Linux and Unix/RHEL.
  • Sound knowledge of Scripting, PHP, Java, Perl, Python, My SQL and Oracle DB.
  • Sound knowledge in the AWS, public private Clouds.
  • Good knowledge in the Hadoop and implementation.
  • Should expert in the KPI optimisation such as GTP Success rate, error ratio various KPI in the network.
  • Expert in KPI benchmarking for a network and recommend what are the KPIs to be monitored
  • Develop Mobile KPI using Unix Scripts, Jasper Reports and PHP.
  • Coordinate with respective cross functional team to improve KPI.
  • Provide recommendation for KPI improvement and suggest architectural changes to improve robustness of a network.
Technical Competencies
  • Good knowledge in SS7, Sigtran, Diameter and GTP protocol and experience in MVNE/MVNO, IOT network, Mobile core/switching/signalling network engineering planning.
  • Good knowledge of Server based technologies, Operating Systems and Virtualization technologies (VMware, CNE and KVM), Unix, Linux and Unix scripting
  • Good knowledge of IP configuration and troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge in Perl, PHP scripting and Jasper Reports
  • Sound knowledge in NFV, Virtual machine, Linux and Unix/RHEL.
  • Sound Knowledge of Analytics tools for KPI trends.
  • Sound knowledge in the Cloud computing.
  • Proven Track record of KPI improvement in a mobile network.
  • Signaling test equipment manipulation configuration.
  • Hands on experience and expert knowledge of Roaming and SMS call flows, Data call flows, GTP
