- Purpose of the job (reason for the existence of this position) :Carry out the production and testing of catalyst on different shifts in Coating Line. - Strategic focus (focus of the position over the next 1- 3 years): Improve the production performance from quality, efficiency and EHS. - Key parameters (Indicate the scope of the position in terms of measurable areas) (E.g. annual revenue, geographical scope, number of reports, operational budget, etc ) : KPI of production volume, downtime, reject rate, mass balance and uptake Balance. - Interfaces (main interfaces in outside the organisation) : Logistic , Washcoat Production, Maintenance, quality, process, lab, HR. - Main responsibilities : 1) Working in all three shifts to carry out the production of catalyst (final product) at coating line. 2) Unloading and loading the substrates/Catalysts. 3) Inspect the quality of substrate/Catalyst visually during unloading/loading as per the guidelines giving by quality department. 4) Setting up the station to initiate new batch like tooling fixing and wash coat charging. 5) Conducting scale verification process for the coating station s weighing scales. 6) Testing of wash coat like pH, solids% and viscosity. 7) Operate the test equipment like pH meter, Ultra- X, adhesion and back pressure unit effectively as per the work instruction and maintain the calibration record of the same. 8) Setting- up labelling of the catalyst on backline by taking prints of labels as per specification given by process department. 9) Setting- up of printing of the catalyst on backline as per the specification given by process department. 10) Operation of Gas yard area which comprises of Nitrogen and Hydrogen gas. 11) Sampling of wash coat catalysts and handing it over to quality department as per sample plan issued by process department. 12) Completion of all campaign related documents on time and getting it verified from their supervisor. 13) Calculation of the wash coat catalyst balance for every campaign and maintain the record of the same. 14) Handing over finished catalyst left over wash coat to the logistics and WC management respectively after the completion of campaign. 15) Maintaining the 5S activity and TQM display in coating line. 16) Comply with supervisor s other arrangement and assist supervisor to finish the required works. 17) In case of any emergency and incident, they have right to stop the process.
Required profile : Functional requirements (Education, years of experience in different areas, technical skills, ) 1. ITI with 0- 2 years experience in any discipline. 2. Experience with the Chemical Process industry or with OEM Paint shop. 3. Basic computer literate in MS office and English skill. 4. Good planning and organizational skills. Personal skills (Behavioural competencies) 1. Good communication skills and interactive capabilities 2. Team work spirit
