Job Description

Role ProfileRole title: India Rewards, Policies, ER & Compliance Head; _VOIS IndiaFunction: Human ResourcesSub-function: RewardsReports to: Head of HR India CentreLocation: Pune, India #_VOISRole purpose:

  • To drive the reward strategy from planning to execution including compensation, benefits, salary benchmarking, annual reward cycles, retention frameworks related to reward, incentive programs (GSTIP, GLTR, etc).
  • To direct and oversee the local labour law compliances.
  • Strategic guidance / governance of HR Operations activities for the India centre.
  • The role will also manage all ER related activities with specific focus on managing investigations of people grievances or other people related issues
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the Reward strategy
  • Responsible for providing thought leadership and deep technical expertise in Reward and related areas
  • Accountable for driving reward processes annual salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, etc.
  • Responsible for developing the long term strategy and short term agenda for Reward at _VOIS India, ensuring adherence to fair pay philosophy, short & long term incentive, share, benefits and international mobility policies, processes and procedures
  • Contribute to global & regional Reward & Recognition initiatives, providing local requirements
  • Drive & conduct periodic benchmark surveys to ensure compensation ranges are competitive to attract and retain talent
  • Builds knowledge and competence w.r.t. Reward, Policies, Compliance and ER among the Line Manager and HR Business Partner communities
  • Drives continuous improvement in Reward, policies, employee benefits, practice and procedures, monitoring and responding to external best practice
  • Responsible to review, amend, design HR policies in line with organisational philosophy, relevant labour laws as well as market practices
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team in setting the guidelines w.r.t. hiring ranges and governance of execution
  • Provide strategic guidance to HR operation team and ensure compliance to process related employee life cycle events, payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Drive 100% labour law compliance.
  • Ensure timeline governance and investigations of employee grievances as well as any other people issues

  • Design and execute total rewards framework
  • Drive Fair pay philosophy while ensuring adherence to approved budgets
  • Review and design policies to drive EXX
  • 100% Labour Laws compliance
  • Timely closure of investigations w.r.t. people grievances/ issues
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • 15+ yrs experience

  • Systems knowledge in ERP (SAP preferred)
  • Knowledge of Statutory & Labour laws
  • Knowledge of design of HR Policies & Rewards & Benefits frameworks
  • Very strong communication skills verbal and written
  • Knowledge of SAP HR modules, HR portal and systems
