Job Description

We are looking forward to a Senior Business Analyst - APAC Region in Eaton s Sales and Marketing Center, based in Pune, India. In Eaton, making our work exciting, engaging, and meaningful; ensuring safety, health, wellness; and being a model of inclusion & diversity are already embedded in who we are - it s in our values, part of our vision, and our clearly defined aspirational goals.This position is a part of SMC_Pricing CoE responsible for leading and delivering analytical & price driven solutions to the businesses (Sales organization, Product line Managers and senior leadership team). The position leads pricing analysis, creating standardized analytical tools and dashboards, reporting on profitability metrics and market segmentation / product division analysis.This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Conceptualize and execute projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management.
  • Consult and support business leaders, Finance teams & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability.
  • Partner with the business, sales and pricing team to conduct pricing development studies aimed to improve pricing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to various functions with the systematic use of both historical and predictive data to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Develop tools, scorecards to track key metrics and value captured from pricing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance current processes to reduce risk through effective use of price analytics.
Qualifications
    1. 3 to 5 years of pricing experience. Preferably in Manufacturing industry
    2. Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics. MBA degree (Marketing or Finance) preferred
    3. Strong project-management skills; ability to manage multiple high-profile pricing review projects.
    4. Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools.
    5. Working knowledge and implementation of Process Improvement tools and methodologies across businesses.
    6. Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
    7. Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
    8. Technical proficiency in following areas is required:
      1. MS Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel
      2. Experience of working on BI tools like OBIEE, Cognos is an added advantage
