Senior Controls Engineer - Gasification

AS - IN - Pune

Job Description and Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Understand Gasification design process/procedure/practice and the related design regulation/code/standard.
  • Lead the related gasification instrument/control design work, including special instrumentation, instrument list and summary, interlock logic diagram.
  • Undertake and lead technical service control and instrumentation tasks including logic configuration, commissioning, startup, training, performance guarantee and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the related technical review e.g. Hazop/SIL review, basic and detailed engineering design.
  • Conduct the related work assigned from process/project lead
  • Able to work with global team including Joint Venture team to accomplish tasks.
  • Ensure company compliance initiatives and trainings requirements are implemented within work group
  • Documentation of all work in appropriate data repositories
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree or above in process control/electrical Engineering/automation.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant field and design experience of controls application/engineering/ Services, gasification area experience preferred;
  • Sound design and analytical background, demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit, Fluent in English, Strong oral and written communication skills, Able to interface effectively within the organization and external customers.
  • Strong customer orientation and external focus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
