Show More Key responsibilitiesResponsible for EDI development focused on coding and mapping activities while following best practices and governance under company standards. Ensure that EDI solutions are operating, including enrichment and translation processes. Engages with other build team resources and cross functional cooperation necessary. Provides and improves technical collaboration with regards to EDI mapping and solutioning between developers, analysts, solution architects, and business representatives. EDI On-Boarding Trading Partnerships for data exchange in a fast-paced environment Development of Maps from business specifications that include data mapping, translation techniques, and interfaces to our backend applications Performing testing and quality control checks Adherence to defined Process flow and Change Management practices Developing and maintaining EDI documentation, as required Conducts analysis, develop requirements and solution documentation. Provide guidance to engineers and developers for applying best practices and developing efficient solutions. Provide mapping assistance and guidance Conduct review of design ideas and provide guidance for solution design. Participate in review of code and solution documentation ensuring it is according to the requirements, is of high quality and in accordance with guidelines and best practices. Highlight risks and issues that affect development, deliveries or platform. Develop proof of concepts Write, test and deliver code and create documentation of high quality, ensuring requirements are met and code conforms to design and guidelines. Analyze health and performance of solutions. Recommend improvements as needed. Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis. Build strong collaborative relationships with architects, software engineers, analysts and vendor/supplier staff. Form strong and trusted relationship with the Product Owner; ensuring that the Product Owner is fully aware of the technical capabilities and shortcomings of product allowing for sensible technical investment and debt repayment decisions. Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies Show More We are looking forTechnical Experience:Must have 5+ years EDI Mapping experience. 5+ years of working knowledge onOpen Text (GXS) AI mapping. Having knowledge of Sterling Integrator / Seeburger BIC Mapping and BIS knowledge would be plus Strong knowledge of EDI transactions using ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT and XML schemas is required Working knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols with expertise using Seeburger At least 3 years of experience in Development/Configuration and deployment environment Background working with Trading Partner Profile Management Open Text Trade Guide, Seeburger BIS Candidate must have a solid understanding of database design Experience with object version control tools Familiarization to Agile Methodologies, SCRUM or KANBAN practices would be a plus JAVA development language would be a plus but, not mandatoryBusiness Experience: Good understanding of EDI terminology/standards/domain knowledge/Transactions ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, ODBC Working knowledge of how to create transaction specification document/Paper map/Mapping Requirement specifications (MRS) Strong Communication Skills Analytical and detail orientedShow More,
