What you will doIn this role, you will be part of product development team to manage & deliver new product functionalities, modify existing product s functionalities or verify product functionalities as required.The Sr. Test Engineer will work in Manual & Automation software test team in Test design, testing, and delivery.You will work within a multi-disciplined engineering team consisting of electronics engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers, programmers and scientists focusing on applied research and new technology innovations to provide new and improved products and solutions for our customers.How you will do it Understand / analyze product or software requirements and tractability maintained Responsible for generating test plans, test cases, scripts and test cycles through automated tests or manual test processes Should be able to work in both Manual & automation testing of Software applications or product features testing Good to have some scripting experience and automation testing experience Prepares Test Reports, RTM & Summary reports for manual/automation tests Should be able to solve the technical issues independently with less monitoring/guidance Ensures Test Environment/ Setup are planned for testing Review product requirements and design specifications to ensure software development and test plans are aligned with PFS Support lead and team in taking initiatives for quality improvement and project tracking Participate in Customer discussions and provide the required updates on-time Should give focus on process improvements & ensures configuration management is taken care.What we look for Must have Hands-on experience in testing Embedded systems Experience in product development life cycle and SDLC Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria. Strong Experience in product testing, system testing, manual testing Experience in making test plans and good knowledge in testing methodologies, techniques Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must. Familiar with automation testing and python/C# Understanding of software analysis, design and testing techniques Ability to be a team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with detail as well as with general assignments A professional, results oriented individual with a high degree of self-motivationPreferred BE (CSE/ECE/EIE/ETC) / MCA (5-8) years in Embedded system testing, product testing, Manual testing Working experience in product testing domains,
