Senior Engineer- Mobile App Developer

Job Description

We are looking forward to Software Engineer in Eaton s Crouse and B-Line electrical business who is Passionate to work in Software Domain, who understands and inculcate Ethical values with Transparency. He/She is a quick learner and easily adapts to upcoming technical domains and believes in leading the team from front. He/She is Efficient and takes Accountability to assigned charter which fits in to overall Goals of software, Mobile App development. He/She must have a keen eye for Quality and should be really passionate about meeting the deadlines.The incoming person would be mainly responsible for close collaboration with Product owner, to interpret product requirements and implement it to Mobile app software that would be used on IOS and Android devices. The engineer will own responsibility and quality of all assigned work ensuring the product meets all functional, technical and software reliability goals. Further, the person is expected to:(1) Quick learner on Mobile app UX layout, code development, deployment and testing. Master various technical tools, languages and frameworks for the same.(2) Understand customer and product owners requirements, convert it to backlog of work, which will be executed in an Agile development.(3) Work with team in an Agile environment, following all Agile methodologies, not limited to backlog grooming, scrum, sprint demo & retrospectives.(4) Demonstrate the technical and operational excellence that can drive innovation and apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve real-world challenges.(5) Work closely with Program Manager, Multi discipline Engineering, hardware, mechanical, certification, firmware sourcing and Manufacturing personnel to design the products in an organized and expedited way.Basic Skills
• Have strong understanding of Mobile(IOS/Android) application and Cloud applications
• Hands on experience on React Native/Redux/Reacthooks
• Should have good knowledge of Swift/Java for Native code Mobile application development.
• Should have good knowledge on Microsoft Azure(Function Apps, Functions etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Javascript & proven working experience
• Should have good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Bit Bucket and Bamboo
• Candidate should be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems
• Candidate should be extremely flexible in terms of technology or platforms.
• Should have worked in Agile environments
Special Skills
• Manage and have ownership for all development lifecycle with respect to process
• Monitor tasks in progress,solve and prevent issues
• Develop supporting engineering documentation including SRS,SDS etc.
• Support and coach technically new joiner and junior developer.
Qualifications
• BE or Btech or MCA
• 7+ yrs of development experience in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React Native,React, Node.js)
• 7+ yrs. of development experience in Native code mobile application development (Swift, Objective C,java)
• 7+ yrs of working with mobile applications with hybrid framework
• 7+ years of experience in typescript
• 7+ years of experience in debugging application using Apples X-Code and Adroid Studio Tools
• 5+ yrs. of development experience in Dot net/ Net core framework
• 5+ yrs. of development experience in programming languages like C#.
• 4+ yrs of experience on relational/nonrelational DB (SQL Sever, Cosmos DB, Mongo DB)
• 4+ yrs of experience in developing web application.
• 4+ yrs of experience in developing cloud application using Microsoft Azure and its services.
• Proven experience to develop and design solutions
• Proven track record at individually developing Mobile,Web and cloud solutions is an advantage
• Proficient with JavaScript frameworks(Angular, React, Node.js)
• Proficient with React Native/React JS/Redux
• Proficient with Agile concepts
• Proficient with Native code languages(Swift/Objective C/java) for developing mobile application
• Proficient in bridging code from react(typescript) framework to iOS/java native code.
• Proficient in developing mobile application(ios/android) using Hybrid framework
• Proficient in debugging code using Apples X-Code and Adroid Studio Tools
• Proficient in deployment of mobile application to App store and Play Store
• Proficient with C#
• Strong Code reviewing and debugging skills.
• Good to know with Databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Mongo DB)
• Good to have knowledge of REST APIs and Node.js
• Experience with Issue and Project Tracking (JIRA Tool) and confluence
• Experienced with testing at all levels (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI)
• Experience in Unit testing with frameworks like NUnit/Jest
• Experience in static analysis tools like Coverity, dotCover, Black Duck etc
• Knowledge of Azure PAAS technologies & services is a plus
• Knowledge of IOT and communication protocols is a plus.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools and technologies.
