This exciting role offers opportunity to: Job Summary Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) The role is open in the Operation Excellence team and responsible to facilitate the development and deployment of business processes and tools for strategic operational projects across ES-Americas using the proven tools and PROLaunch processes.This will include the use of the PROLaunch process, Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEAs), Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP), SIOP input, and industrialization. In addition, this position will assist multiple functions in product transitioning as well as supporting large transfers of production lines and processes between Plants. The incumbent will support to drive operational excellence through continuous improvement culture, digital/automated tools, support development of e-learning modules, and management of business standard works. Job Responsibilities The candidate in this position is responsible to :
    • Support ES Americas Plants for the deployment of Operational excellence initiatives including PROLaunch processes, OPA and Business Standards
    • Drive action planning to achieve the next maturity level in OPA Program Management for respective plants, drive documentation and trainings in this regards
    • Leads project teams through PROLaunch stages and Gate Review events for all PROLaunch-type projects (NPI-Capital Improvements, STP, VAVE, etc.). Understands Activity Matrix deliverables and drives cross-disciplinary teams to complete applicable work packages.4) Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and provide adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports
    • Drives the implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance at the site. (Such as ProPM)
    • Work with business stakeholders for capturing requirements, post-processing of data by utilizing digital tools, and benchmarking to develop comprehensive proposals.
    • Drive automation & digitization projects for Progam Management processes using appropriate tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, Python, PowerApps & other O365 tools. Continuously builds digital skills to simplify processes.
    • Develops impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI and shares those reports effectively using Microsoft Power Platform
    • Responsible for updating and deploying new processes and tools through User Acceptance Testing and training
    • Ensures an effective change management process is utilized during execution and control stages of projects
    • Supports efforts on the development of e-Learning modules leveraging IT resources
    • Develop/Update Business standards by working with business teams. Responsible for configuration management of Standard work elements
    • Develop use case documentation and analysis for program lifecycle
    • Support to drive continuous improvement initiatives and Eaton Quality Management System
    • Conduct process health self-assessments, monitor assessment outcomes and corrective action plans, and impact on business results
    • Coordinates all risks and requirements of the project. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, and integrating all project activities and deliverables and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved. Provides periodic project updates of current situation relating to milestones and problem/high-risk areas to business units as well as divisional levels
    • Manage effective stakeholder communications. Improve organization responsiveness to stakeholder requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and commitments internal to the business
    • Drive best practices learning and sharing through PROLaunch Champion Community
    • Simplify program management lifecycle (VSM, CI activities) to increase day to day efficiency, effectiveness & productivity
    QualificationsRequirement:Education level required:
    • Bachelor degree required, Engineering degree preferred.
    Preferred education level:
    • Basic Qualifications: Experience working on engineering or manufacturing teams, with exposure to program management tools and processes.
    • Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing, program management, operation excellence and leadership of project teams.
    Technical knowledge/Soft Skills:
    • Experience of working with plant operations such as Manufacturing, Engineering, OpEx, Quality, Materials Management,
    • Hands-on experience of MS Project or equivalent PM tool, Lean/DMAIC tools, New Product Introduction process, Good programming skills in Excel Macros and VBA, Strong data analytics skills & tools (Power BI, ProPM-Clarity).
    Soft skills:
    • Leadership skills - the capability to lead change, Good communication and presentation skills both verbal and written with the ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management, Good analytical skills and business acumen, High proficiency in preparing and managing schedules
