Job Description

Sr Manager Product Development at BMC you will have end-to-end ownership of product delivery and the responsibility to innovate, design, develop, release, maintain, and support software. The role involves working with cutting-edge software deployment methodologies involving containerization and micro-services architecture. Experience of these technologies is essential.Roles and Responsibilities

  • You will be establishing and maintaining a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team. A person who is hands-on, technically sound, but also able to lead and influence people.
  • You will drive high quality, on-time releases, lead day-to-day execution including all technical aspects of the product
  • As a Senior Manager, your will be working closely with other product owners to establish dependencies and ensuring the execution of the same
  • You will be leading a team of Developers, QA technicians, and working closely with product management, vendors, other product owners.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Manage all people aspects of the team, such as hiring, reviews, coaching, promotions.
  • Contributes to and executes long-term plans for product architecture and engineering development.
Qualifications
  • Around 15+ years of experience in the technology industry with at least 5+ years managing and leading teams.
  • Highly organized and excellent at following through with commitments with good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Care deeply about product quality and user impact
  • Direct experience with Agile Development and project tracking tools
  • Technical expertise in Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting languages
  • Have experience building CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins /Spinnaker, Git, Ansible, and any other supporting programming languages like Groovy
  • Strong knowledge of any of the Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP
