Ciena makes your social / entertainment / business existence REAL.Job Description - Release/Program Manager role for PLATFORMDate: Oct 28, 2021Job SummaryYou will be responsible for release and program management of BluePlanet platform team.The work is from Pune Office or from home in any part of India and you will be part of the global team of outstanding professionals building the best-in-class OSS software.Main Responsibilities:

  • Finalizing scope for each release and prioritizing them sitting with each stakeholders (PLMs)
  • Plan release capacity
  • Run the weekly connect with Dev, QA and Docs teams
  • Provide weekly status to PMs
  • Represent BluePlanet Platform in the IPT
  • Attend scrum meetings
  • Run the sprint Demos (per Sprint)
  • Be the focal point for all the platform tickets opened by teams other than Engineering.
  • Create CA / GA slides
  • Create dashboards and filters for efficient bug management
  • Run the retrospection meetings (End of Release)
  • Weekly connect with PLM for alignment on release priorities
  • Work with other teams for dependencies.
  • Liaise with other parties and manage product release
  • Flag timely risks and issues
  • Work closely with TechWriters for tracking all release documentation
  • Orchestrate Jiras based on features developed by respective PODs.
Key Competences:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 10 years of relevant program, project, and release management
  • Proven track record in delivering business solutions
  • Domain knowledge OSS, Telecom , Good understanding of OSS solutions
