Job Description

Job Summary:

Summary:

As a member of a local scrum team, test new functionality & maintain highest quality standards for PowerShare, The industry s largest cloud network for image and medical imaging data exchange .

Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop strategies for Release, Regression, API, and Automation testing for PowerShare.
  • Enhance, extend, and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks.
  • Create, update, review and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Perform functional testing, regression testing of product functionality & components.
  • Collaborate with feature developers, QA engineers, Architects and Product Managers and participate in all phases of the scrum process.
  • Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA(A) best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment and with geographically distributed teams.
  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.

Qualifications

Education: BS or MS University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Years of Experience: 5+

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Java programming language
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks - Selenium, TestNG
  • Strong Web Services testing experience and thorough understanding of Web Services methodologies (REST primarily)
  • Good understanding & hands - on of Cloud concepts & technologies - preferably Azure, Docker
  • Strong experience writing test strategies, test plans and test cases for enterprise cloud solutions
  • Experience testing large scale multi - tier web based applications
  • Experience working on an Agile development team with rapid iterations
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment and with geographically distributed teams
  • Confident, self - motivated, with good communication skills and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

  • Good Unix/Linux hands - on and understanding
  • Good experience of Databases preferably Oracle
  • Experience with Development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence
