SUMMARY In the ANSYS Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM) team, we help our customers to tame computer- aided engineering (CAE) complexity and to accelerate innovation by synchronizing and elevating their people, systems, content and processes. We seek an experienced software architect to lead the definition and delivery of the SPDM enterprise software stack. We seek a Senior Software Developer to design and implement new infrastructure, features, and user experience.RESPONSIBILITIES Advance the software development lifecycle by planning and completing tasks within the requirements of the ANSYS development process.Perform design, implementation and maintenance of multiple product modules. Research and develop solutions to problems discovered by QA or product support. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.Research new technology and development tools to remain informed of current trends and innovation.Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.Other duties as assigned, and as needed to deliver on project goals.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or related field plus 8 years of experience; or a Masters degree plus 4 years of experienceExperience developing web front- end using technologies such as HTML, Javascript, Angular, ReactExperience developing web services using languages such as Python, Javascript, C#/ .NET CoreExpertise in database development using either SQL or non- SQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, MS SQLExcellent understanding of web architecture, distributed systems and web APIs (such as REST, gRPC)Excellent knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementationExcellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assuranceExcellent skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed organizationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS/ Azure) and containerized application management (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with CI/ CDExperience in PLM, PDM, CAD and CAE software developmentCULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
