This team leads with mission to provide overall stewardship of enterprise grade application architecture & design within the context of holistic software development. This includes driving the architecture & design decisions and building consensus around it. The team leads the exploration in software architecture & technology innovations along with enabling excellence in overall team.Role:t Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions by following software development lifecycle practicest Perform significant code development and day-to-day support dutiest Define requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practicest Lead initial exploration and proof of concepts for new capabilities for the platform and suggest the approaches.t Assist in troubleshooting, defect fixes and user guides for software solutions being developedt Responsible for maintaining the development quality by following the standard practices around code reviews, unit testing and secure coding practices.t Responsible to build automation around certain manual processes by proactively working towards fixing them.All About You:Senior Software Development Engineer at MasterCard is a high performing engineer within the organization with following skills required,t Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Data Structures & Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming is a must.t Proficiency in Software Development best practices - Secure coding standards, Unit testing frameworks, Code coverage, Quality gates.t Fluent in writing programs in Java with hands on experience on Spring, Spring boot, J2EE frameworks, REST APIs and microservices.t Passion for software engineering and willingness to learn new software frameworkst Good knowledge about Unix Fundamentals - ability to understand and write scriptst Understanding of Design patterns and Integration patterns is good to have, especially around message / event driven architecture.t Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentt Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Computer Science, Engineering or IT requiredCOVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we re all in this together.
