Senior Software Engineer (Computer Vision) Pune, Kolkata India Full- Time X JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an individual who is exceptionally good at programming and an experienced developer of computer vision algorithms in GPU. The individual we are looking for will be joining our R&D; team, which consists of top class image procession and computer vision scientists and a group of highly skilled software developers. This is an incredible opportunity to get involved in building cutting- edge software tools for heterogeneous computing systems. Please note that this job is not for everyone. You need to have a passion to develop complex systems; otherwise you will find that what we are trying to do is very difficult. EBEX Computing is an Australian based MNC, having development teams in Melbourne, Pune and Kolkata. This position is for Pune and Kolkata centers. Please mention your choice in your application. RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce highly efficient code with documentation, unit- tests, and integration scripts Actively participate with other senior team members to facilitate the system architecture decisions Research on new techniques and libraries to streamline development Create and maintain documentation by using project management tools such as JIRA/ Confluence Innovate approaches to overcome complexities Coordinate with overseas software engineers Create accurate estimates of implementation times and report on progress REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: 2 3 Years of C++, OpenCL/ CUDA experience Experience with OpenCV and other related computer vision libraries Exceptionally good with threads Well acquainted with C++11 Should know your way around Linux Experience to break down a complex problem into simpler tasks Development experience of Image Processing and Computer Vision algorithms DESIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Shell scripting Familiarity with Maltab, Octave, or other quick prototyping tools Previous experience in Image processing or Low Latency applications is an added advantage Good communicator and team player Strong knowledge of design patterns Ability to take direction and work autonomously within a team Knowledge of versioning systems, project management, and task management tools QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electronics), or MSc (computer vision specialisation) WORK BENEFITS: Competitive salary Business Casual Work Environment Growth potential within our expanding business A fun and friendly work environment Direct interaction with international clients Possible overseas work trips Apply,
