Job Description

Job Duties

  • Design and implement new features and maintain existing functionalities
  • Responsible for writing APIs
  • Analyse the functional requirements and carry on development activities accordingly.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure that set coding standards and practices are followed
  • Follow agile/scrum processes
  • Optimize code to improve application efficiency
  • Taking necessary corrective measures to address problems in application
  • Follow best practices and guidelines in development
  • Strong understanding of performance and scalability considerations when building applications

Qualifications

  • Computer science degree or an equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a software development role shipping complex applications to large scale production environments
  • Demonstrable mastery of at least one language (C#, JavaScript / Node.js)
  • Demonstrable mastery of at least one database technology (MS SQL OR PostgreSQL OR NOSQL)
  • Experience with .NET core and API development
  • Experience with any of the front end technologies - React, node.js, Angular, Amber
  • Working experience on any of the Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion to see your product be the best in the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Experience of building CI/CD pipelines
  • Deployment automation scripting experience (Terraform, Packer, Jenkins)
