Job Description

    • Good understanding of Operating systems (Windows and Linux)
    • Good understanding of basic networking concepts.
    • Good shell scripting skills
    • Familiarity with widely used bug and test management tools such as - Jira, Testrail etc.
    • Strong programming skills in any one of the languages such as - Python/Java/Ruby/Perl.
    • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, HyperV etc.
    • Familiarity with various RDBMS such as Mysql, Oracle, Sql Server etc
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
    • High regard for quality standards and quality control.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
    • Awareness of general automation concepts, functional and non-functional testing.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN, Git etc.
    Desirable Skills:
    • Familiarity with cloud architecture.
    • Familiarity with agile testing methodologies, test pyramid and quality metrics.
    • Front-end web application test automation tools such as Selenium / Cypress/ Puppeteer and REST API testing.
    • Awareness of security , scale and performance testing.
    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Be part of the QA team and closely work with the developers.
    • Develop detailed understanding of the features/enhancements for the product including functional specifications and design with the perspective of performing automated and manual, white box as well as black box testing.
    • Assist in creation of feature test plans/strategy based on development and feature completion milestones.
    • Leverage automation framework for automating feature tests.
    • Own end-to-end test execution for user stories.
    • Create and maintain test bed setups
    • Timely reporting, tracking and updating of issues and test cases
    Qualification:B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent,
