Are you passionate about building and delivering end-to-end automated solutions in a challenging environment Do you like working closely with business and IT developers to ensure timely deliveries on short notice We are looking for a hands-on, highly experienced technical engineer who can lead and develop automated business solutions using Azure Cloud Services and Big Data Solutions.We need someone like you who can help us: lead the architecture of IT solutions, focusing on end to end solution design leveraging enterprise standards / building blocks identify & articulate benefits and drawbacks of different technologies, patterns and approaches with a balance between trade-offs and business value collaborate closely with Chief Technology Officers and define the technical roadmaps, architectural patterns ,development practices and promote more cloud native design thinking. ensure alignment with Chief Technology Officer strategies and compliance with architecture guidelines, security requirements, and design & development standards manage architectural risks through architectural patterns, real options, with an emphasis on communication to stakeholders, ensuring architecture decisions documented to aid reviews / assessments. document architecturally significant items through Architecture Decision Records (ADR) with the team to aid communicating architecture artefacts provide guidance through architectural patterns and practices ensuring the architecture flexibility to meet changing demand and constraints in future. lead the delivery of solutions on new Azure Cloud platform using Scala, Java, Phyton, React, Spark, SQL technologies relevant for US regulatory requirements like Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) provide technical leadership in design and development activities on concurrent complex technology and data projects with multi-source, on and offshore teams evaluate, innovate new best-in-class data management, automation approaches and technologies keep your colleagues up to date and happyYour Career ComebackWe are open to applications from career returners. We are responsible for providing the Technology Solutions needed by the Investment Bank, Wealth Management to manage Value at Risk exposure of its global Front Office banking book portfolio. The team provides the systems that ensure the Banks compliance to various regulatory requirements, like CCAR, Basel and FINMA., Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 15+ years working experience at least 5 years of experience as Lead Engineer/Solution Architect in a globally distributed team, preferably in finance domain expertise in developing, designing micro-services and containerizing them (using Dockers, Swarm/Kubernetes or similar technologies) on hybrid infrastructures. hands-on experience in Cloud Services including databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), caching, object and block storage, scaling, load balancers, Networking etc. hands on experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, java, Spark, JavaScript, ReactJS. experience with Continuous Integration environments, Agile and DevOps principles, automated unit testing and tools used to support CI and release management strong knowledge in Solution Architecture design and delivery using Microservices, AKS, Azure Services, Databricks, SQL databases, Spark, PowerBI, Kyligence. have financials services IT background working on CCAR reporting, understanding of Asset and Liability Management, Balance Sheet forecasting and financial products experience working closely with onshore/nearshore/offshore teams and multiple vendors strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skillsYou are: proficient in creating a comprehensive architecture for a software solution and providing strategic direction throughout the development process and creating a solution prototype. professional in finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems. skilled in designing high performance and high available applications, providing guidance/mentorship to technology teams adaptable and able to work effectively across different technology and business teams able to adapt, quick learner and be able to provide technical expertise across a wide range of technology hands-on engineer with automation mindset not afraid of getting your hands dirty technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
