Silicus Technologies Careers - Senior Technical Lead - Java Senior Technical Lead - Java IT Software / Software Services Pune, Maharashtra Description Job Responsibilities Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies. Participate in gathering business requirements and assessing existing architectures and resources. Involve in ensuring a quality technical design that satisfies the business requirements of the client. Involve in package evaluations and recommendations, communicating the technological details of the project to the business users and works with the client. Within the overall project delivery, plans and leads various new application development and enhancement projects. Coordinate and communicate with the other tracks and disciplines involved in the project. Work with the Project Manager and Account Manager, help develop project plans; identify development and project risks and collaborates on mitigation strategies. Provide strategic vision for expanding current functionality and for the development and deployment of new features and modules. Work with application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and with good quality. Works closely with the end user community and IT to resolve production system issues. Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identifies impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware and networks. Perform unit testing, oversee quality assurance of applications through system testing; establishes processes for and conducts code review. Keep up- to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/ recommendations to project manager or the architect as required. Candidate Profile Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / MCS Overall 8+ years of experience in Java Technologies. Prior experience of at least 2 years in technically managing a team of 5 or more resources. Prior experience in resource management and client communication. Knowledge and Skills: Core Java with Angular JS/ 4/ 5. Strong fundamental knowledge of OOPs and Data Structures. Strong technical knowledge of Java technologies like Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST API, jQuery, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, and J2EE. Strong technical knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, Ajax/ jQuery , Bootstrap. Strong experience in MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle. Good to have exposure to NoSQL DB like MongoDB Good practical exposure to frameworks like spring, Hibernate, Spring boot, JPA struts etc. Good exposure to messaging services like JMS Must have exposure to different application server, configuration systems, and different web servers in Java platform. Experience in developing and delivering solutions utilizing Service Oriented Architecture, Micro Services, design or redesign architecture, cloud computing (AWS). Experience in DevOps, Jenkins pipeline or similar tools using Sonar qube. Understanding of modern development methodologies and tools including Agile (XP and Scrum), Rapid Application Development, etc. Excellent Communication, presentation, problem- solving and team working skills.
