This team will be building a global platform to help facilitate credit to micro-merchants in developing markets. As a global business, the Agile team you coach for Mastercard will deliver software operating at massive scale requiring focus on performance, security, and reliability. This role will be based in our Mastercard technology location in Pune, India that provides a state-of-the-art environment for technology teams to thrive in a collaborative, Agile engineering culture. You will play a key role in how Mastercard transforms the B2B payments space using Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Azure cloud-native technologies. Responsibilities Organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives; Participate in scrum of scrum meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination of release plans and integration of testing activities; Coordinate with the product owner on backlog priorities to maximize business value; Facilitate productivity by removing impediments team will encounter, mediating through conflicts, helping team to make decisions and adhering to continues improvement principles; Monitor relevant team metrics and continually analyze for continuous improvement recommendations; Practice servant leadership supporting the needs of the team; Create and keep team information radiators updated and visible; Empower team to self-organize and facilitate decision making during sprint planning sessions ensuring the commitments made are appropriate and uphold scrum principles; Foster an agile culture, building trust and collaboration across all team members; Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lifecycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices; Provide leadership on Scrum practices to the team and the organization; Collaborate with other Scrum Masters in the organization to maintain a thriving Agile practice.Qualifications Complete understanding of agile processes such as Scrum, XP and Kanban; Strong familiarity with Agile values, engineering practices, principles, lean methodologies; and methods such as iterative and incremental development, continuous integration, test-driven development (TDD), unit testing, code refactoring, pair programming, and scrum ceremonies; Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, strong team player; Desire to be part of an elite and growing software development team; Possess solid foundation in project leadership and significant coaching experience with cross-functional, software engineering teams; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with experience in SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale practices, and have worked in large-scale team environments; Passionate about creating high-performing and tightly knit teams; Act as a Servant leader focused on the well-being and effectiveness of your team; Experience working with distributed teams is a plus; Capable of independently leading diverse and complex work with minimal direction, diverse interactionsDue to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
