Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Your deliverables as a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:General Profile

  • Support on small engagements and be a specialist on specific product/business areas
  • Work in close collaboration with the regional Global Solutions team, Product management, Development, QA, etc.
  • Work with, and provide training and assistance for regional Global Solutions team in the designated application areas
  • Recommend and document new processes that will result to better day to day operations
  • Knowledge of other job disciplines within the job discipline group
  • Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business accountability typically spans multiple products or across business segment
  • Develops innovative/cutting-edge solutions, processes and best practices by leading internal technical teams
  • Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements
  • Fosters ongoing awareness of developments in technology within the team Leadership
  • Support technical projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution or;
  • Helps in providing technical thought leadership, strategy, and advice, across multiple products, within the business segment, network or entire Platform
Problem Solving
  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop and apply solutions
Impact
  • Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services
  • Works within general business segment/ functional policies and industry guidelines
  • Impacts multiple products and customization with business segment impact
  • Provides advice regarding technical direction of the business segment
Knowledge/Skills Required
  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
  • With good understanding of the market trends and current financial technology
  • Technical expertise to help in building wining solutions on the Central Demo system or on client specific environment as part of Proof of Concept exercises
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
  • Autonomy, Auto-motivation, Problem solving, and Decision making are key
  • Provides technical advice and consults authoritatively with clients
Required Experience
  • Experience in the Financial Markets sector either with Financial Software and/or Financial Services industry
  • Experience in Cash Management business is highly preferred and knowledge in Fusion Cash Management is an advantage
  • Experience on Sales demonstrations of financial services software is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is an advantage
Technical Skills Required
  • Experience on Core Java, Java Scripts, J2EE
  • Experience on Oracle Database, Oracle Reports Services
  • Experience with Web and Web Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic)
  • Knowledge on Ajax, JSP, Servlet, Tag Library, XSLT
  • Knowledge on Spring Framework, XMLBeans
  • Knowledge on Web Services, XML, XSD
  • Knowledge on message brokers (ActiveMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ, JMS)
  • Knowledge on mobile architecture
  • Knowledge on Windows and Linux platform
  • Knowledge on Azure
  • Knowledge of FFDC platform will be an advantage
Education/Certifications Required:
  • Degree on: Business / Banking / Computer Science or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Work is performed in a general office environment
  • Travel may be required
  • Must have a valid passport and willingness to travel internationally on short term assignments.
