Job Description

This is a full time position (not a contract position) for an experienced Senior UI Developer . During this engagement you will work with clients and relevant stakeholders on site and from TechBlocks office in Pune. Duties include designing, developing, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise cross platform applications. If interested, please send your updated resume with your compensation expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior UI Developer will focus on the delivery of web applications development project tasks with heavy emphasis on responsive website and mobile sites.
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycles and process
  • Experience in project estimation techniques, architecture and design patterns and performance engineering
  • Participate in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated into valid software design.
  • Drive teams and ensure the overall integrity of the software design and validate it against the system architecture specification.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent in Front end Technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript and JQuery
  • Tools: Excellence in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), Invision
  • Excellence in Liquid/full Responsive website/Email UI development.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
  • Positive attitude and desire to push the boundaries in user interface design.
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Balsamiq for creating interactive wireframes.
  • Able to prototype designs with InvisionApp and Axure or any other industry standard high-fidelity prototype tool.
  • Able to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs and ideas from multiple stakeholders with differing opinions
  • A minimum of 8 years of formal industry/professional experience as a User Interface developer.
  • A minimum of 5 years of formal web design experience.
  • Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts, HCI, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms and responsive design
  • Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries.
  • Candidate must absolutely be in sync with recent design standards and trends.
  • Must possess outstanding meeting facilitation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be pro-active with issue identification and resolution
  • Extensive experience with screen mock ups, wireframes, user experience requirements and workflows
