What you will do Organising all shipments in line with requirements and in coordination with all internal and external business partners; Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices and packing lists and other statutory documents; Timely preparation of export / Domestic shipment documentation in SAP Playing the key coordinator role for all shipments to customers, ensuring optimal transportation and completion of all necessary documentation. Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all stakeholders; Continual review of shipping dates and reporting exceptions Ensure compliance to local legal transportation, custom clearance and excise rules. Participate and contribute in World Class Manufacturing activities for eradicating Logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting the Factory and customers involving other stakeholders as needed (e.g., CSRs, Supplier Management, carriers). Work with Planning and Customer Service to ensure timely availability of finished goods in order to meet On Time customer orders. Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, incl. claim and complaints management / root cause analysis / eradication Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities at factory level for lowest possible total logistics cost and improved service level Participate and contribute weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings both internally as well as with the Logistics companies [ Freight as well as warehousing] Experience in Manufacturing industry in dealing with global suppliers SAP experience shall be added advantage. High level of computer literacy, to include MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook Strong numerical reasoning along with an ability to interpret and analyse incomplete information and make predictions based on trend and first principles. Excellent communication skills. 1. Support to ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company: Fill proper documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation) 2. Resolve or support issues that might arise with port / customs / transportation company 3. Support and preparation reporting of KPIs (incl., costs, payload, PDII) for all metrics concerning the factory, inclusive all the way to final destination on the DOs 4. Run process in order to deliveries to customer (e.g., from port to customer site) and link factories to customers to shipping company / road transportation 5. Synchronize ETDs and ETAs over the supply chain to ensure the correct delivery date to customer 6. Resolve issues that might arise with port / customs / transportation company 7. Bring suggestion and drive projects to continuous improvement for the areas
