software engineer (qa) tps_ddos in pune## --- ## **Role & Responsibility** |**As a Software Engineer (QA) - Application Delivery & Networking domain, youwould be working on Network Solution Architectures, Application Security,Threat Protection System and DDoS. ****As part of Application Delivery & Network Security team, You will beresponsible for ensuring high quality of deliverables you work on.** **Key Skill / Words**| * ** Network Product Testing Network Protocol Testing ** * **[Mandatory] L4-L7 application delivery , SSL , SSL/TLS , TCP/UDP/HTTP , real-time traffic and Load balancers , Caching ** * ** Content Delivery , Virtual Network Overlays ** * **Network Security, Firewall, Access Control , Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Proxy ** * ** L2 Protocol , VLAN , bridge , EtherChannel , L3 Routing Protocol , IPv4 and IPv6 , L3 Forwarding , NAT ** * ** Traffic generator tools : preferred are Spirent , Spirent TestCenter , Spirent Avalanche ** **Primary Skills** | * **Good understanding and experience of various Test Frameworks & architectures. ** * **Experience in testing Cloud & Application security for DDoS Protection Solutions.** * **Experience in testing Application Attack Protection through Regular expression filter (TCP/ UDP/HTTP/SIP), HTTP request rate limit, Application request malformed check (DNS/HTTP/SIP), Signature-based IPS** * **Knowledge of Networking protocols experience like Routing: static routes, BGP4+, OSPF, OSPFv3, IS-IS** * **Knowledge of VLAN (802.1Q), Trunking (802.1AX), LACP, Access control lists (ACLs), Network Address Translation (NAT), MPLS traffic protection, BGP route injection, FlowSpec, IPinIP (source and terminate), GRE tunnel interface, VXLAN** * **Experience in software test Execution, documentation. ** * **Good familiarity with Linux (like) operating system.** **Secondary skills** | * **Knowledge of test instruments Spirent Avalanche (Spirent Test Center - STC) ** * **Understanding of Network Security feature is a plus.** * **Understanding of Ansible to manage cloud VMs is a plus.** * **Knowledge of Networking L2- L7 protocols is a plus.** **Educational/professional qualification required**|**Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
