FIS Astec Lending Pit provides a complete set of market information solutions for the global securities financing industry.The solution offers intraday global securities lending data, analytics and benchmarking tools for trading, performance measurement and program management, creating greater transparency for financial institutions involved in investment management and securities lending and borrowing.What you will be doingThis position works with product, project management and other developers to build and implement solutions with high quality standards.What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

  • Knowledge of how applications operate, are structured/integrated/deployed.
  • Extensive experience of software/service solutions delivered on a hosted infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of Object-oriented concepts.
  • Good to have - Knowledge of Capital Markets domain
  • Prepare and execute unit and integration test cases as per the client requirements
  • Develops, maintains and enhance existing modules of Astec application.
Skills
  • Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end users requirements.
  • Improve applications performances.
  • Prepare documentations for database applications.
  • Memory management for database systems.
  • Develop database schemas, tables and dictionaries.
  • Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.
  • Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
  • Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
  • Test databases and perform bug fixes.
  • Provide authentication and authorizations for Database
  • Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
  • experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
  • experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
Competencies
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
