About the team Our team at FIS is the core team developing the Risk & Compliance suite for banks, insurances and other institutions that need to manage financial risks. We have a broad and solid customer base with hundreds of large clients around the world.Our Windows based multi-tier solution features a high-performance calculation service in C#, a .NET GUI, a web reporting layer running on IIS and relational databases. Our TeamCity DevOps infrastructure delivers continuous integration from development teams across multiple cities and countries. We exercise a high level of quality control with intra-team code reviews and multiple layers of testing. What you will be doing This position is for a software developer specialist. You will be responsible for development of regulatory reports and RWA Calculations based on banking regulations like Basel, EBA, PRA, FINMA, APRA etc. The specifications are provided by the business analysts and product management team. The team is distributed across different countries, and you will have to collaborate effectively with them.You will have full product lifecycle experience, from requirements and design through to supporting production code.As part of your role, you will be quality focused and suggest improvement in process and product. You will take ownership of situations and tasks. You will challenge team members and project management on the requirements, feature value and impact on team velocity.You will be proactive in learning new things, research best solutions for the requirement. What you bring: Knowledge / Experience8 to 12 years of relevant experience Windows development experience with strong C# skills. SQL Server experience, preferably in a data warehouse / large data set performance sensitive environment. Object Orientated code design. Experience in Unit testing frameworks like Nunit/MS-Test Good working knowledge of GITAdditional requirements (good to have) Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Continuous integration, TDD Windows PowerShell Worked on server-side code. Optimisation skills C# code and SQL Server queries / schema. Creating reports for SQL Server reporting platforms e.g. power BI, SSRS, Excel. SQL Server DBA skills.Desired QualificationsBachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Business Management or equivalent work experience.
