Job Description and Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a member of the IT Security Services Team, which is part of the overall IT Security organization. IT Security Services is responsible for security architecture, engineering and support of security controls, and identity and access management (IAM) for our global computing environment. The Cyber security Engineer will be responsible for day - to - day cyber - security tasks, support of our security solutions and processes, developing new solutions, and mitigating potential risks to our environment. The responsibilities of this position require the ability to utilize many technologies, tools and processes which will assist in maintaining our security services. This individual will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively across various technology disciplines (e.g., Network, Server, Client, etc.) and with global and regional teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrior experience with Microsoft Active Directory is required
Scripting experience is required (C#, C++, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Knowledge of authentication protocols is required (i.e. SAML, LDAP, Radius, etc.)
Experience with an Identity and Access Management platform is highly preferred (i.e. EmpowerID)
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent degree
5 - 8 years functional/technical experience as an IT Cybersecurity Engineer, or equivalent experience
Attained or working toward IT Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+
Advanced troubleshooting and problem - solving capabilities required
Strong communications skills; both verbal and written
Ability to assess and prioritize competing issues and opportunities.
Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively across global, cross organizational team environments and participate in virtual projects, work requests or activities
