Job Description

General Description: Account Management group (ODSM) has a requirement for a senior operations analyst to complement an existing team supporting the Global OnCore Account Maintenance. This is primarily a BAU role but the incumbent would in addition be required to participate in client onboarding activities as this pertains to data setup, configuration and testing in the platform lower regions of the OnCore platform.During the first 3 to 6 months, this person would be partially assigned to two ongoing project initiatives which are designed to bring about greater automation and wider functional scope expanding the groups capabilities to service clients and support the Middle Office operations groups. This assignment will also serve as part of the training and development as the BAU role evolves. This is a client facing role and the target would be to align this person a primary contact to one or several Middle Office clients.Position content:

  • Interaction with clients and managing the workflow related to the receipt of client, account and third party reference data for account opening, modifications and closing
  • Perform levels of data validation and quality assurance to ensure the data are fit for use based upon predefined business rules
  • Interaction with the Middle Office operations groups to support their actions to consume the reference data and prepare their systems for use
  • Interaction with operations to source data internally derived to enrich a centralized repository of account data
  • Initiate and maintain workflow application events to track, monitor and manage process exceptions related to the preceding mentioned activities
  • Perform collaborative participation with onboarding project teams to establish and maintain test data, support or perform testing and assist the client in the provisioning of dependent reference data
  • Participate in application development in terms of building test cases, scripts, testing activities, reconciliations and issue resolution
Skills needed:
  • Experience in operations processes preferably in a Middle Office setting with a general understanding of investment back and middle office life cycle (>= 3 years)
  • Has knowledge in financial products including equities, fixed income and listed derivatives (OTC bilateral derivatives and/or bank loans a plus)
  • Has a strong comfort level communicating and triaging client demands and inquiries
  • Has a proven ability to communicate and collaborate across differing functions (operations, technology and product development)
  • Can operate independently within initial guidance/supervision/knowledge transfer
